The sequel to the fan-favourite Ultimate General: Gettysburg, Ultimate General: Civil War is designed to be as historically accurate as possible without sacrificing entertaining gameplay. The scenarios are based directly upon historical battles including the Battle of Aquia Creek, the Battle of Cold Harbor and the Battle of Washington. The unit types are also drawn from history, and range from foot troops to mounted cavalry. The battlefields, meanwhile, are based on historical maps.
Step into the Boots of a Civil War General
As the general of your army, it will be your job to command your troops to victory. The better your reputation becomes, the more divisions you will be given at your disposal. Ultimate General: Civil War offers a wide range of different unit types and forms of terrain, ensuring a great degree of depth in terms of playability. One warning, though: the enemy AI makes for an extremely tough opponent.
